Sweet Phantasmagoria

I bid thee a dream
Of dark chocolates skies.
A  moon made of honey
Where E.T flies.

A strawberry flamingo
With a sage ‘tween his wings
Waving a cinnamon wand,
Dusting stars as he sings.

Two ants dancing tAngO
On a mountain of candy,
Overlooked by a Lily
Sipping on brandy.

Spraying purple perfume
As the lovers entwine,
In the moon’s silky shadow -
Like a silhouette shrine.

A mouse sails a mango
On a blueberry ocean.
Fresh winds at her tail,
Inhaling life’s potion.

Into the marmalade eye
Her boat disappears,
And the dreamer awakes…
A new dawn is here.

The Plan

I was a one-celled organism with a plan.
I couldn’t move, so I just thought…
I thought of legs and arms and eyes
And love and war and sex.
I was a one-celled organism with a plan
And now I rule the world.

War Whore III

There’s a rift in the land
And someone’s calling for blood,
They called his mama a whore!
And now there’s a grudge.

Fist on the table!
Sure sign of power!

I’ll kill you,
You ignorant swine!
Kill you and your family!
I’ll watch your country burn!!
insolent inanity.

Sending out the war whores.
They serve bullets for breakfast.
Revenge will be sweet.

Just a public apology
And I swear I’ll forgive.
Don’t be a tight-ass,
Get down, genuflect.
Sell me your soul, or
I’ll raise the price on your head.

I’ll kill you!!
You insolent swine!
Kill you and your family!
I’ll watch your country burn,
Decadent integrity

Strap on the gear.
Arsenal ready?

Marching like red ants,
Devour the culprit.
Summon the birds
To swallow them whole!
Unleash hell on that boy!
I’ll show you my toys!

Sending out the war whores.
They eat bullets for breakfast.
Revenge will be sweet.

Just a public apology, and I swear I’ll forgive….

Project Earth

Please relax while we extract the life from your veins.
Everyday’s a different burden, and we at Project Earth
Can scrutinize your pains.
The cells portray your every weakness,
As they flood your scatter brain.

We hope that you’ll enjoy your stay.
Sit tight, it’s quite a ride.
But don’t forget to relax.

Bicertainlogic

So conflicted.
Half man half machine.
With no power to decide,
But with knowledge that freedom is encoded
By Certain Logic.

Volition?
I can never decide,
For deciding gives way
To predetermined conclusion.
And here I am a seeker of freedom,
Forced to decide
Not to decide.

Free will?
Guided resistance?
Or elegant machines
Anchored in history’s omnipotence?

Destiny’s ripple drives genetic subsistence.
Logic chained to awareness?
Yes!
Cause and effect command our existence!

Why do we dream?

Why and how we dream, incorporating some (speculative) ideas about how the brain works.

Briefly, our mind can be divided into the conscious and the subconscious element. Respectively, I believe that our long term memory is more closely associated with the subconscious mind, and our short term memory with the conscious mind.

This closely represents the workings of a computer, where the hard drive (long term memory) stores information, and the ram (short term memory) processes the information. As new information is introduced to the system, it is processed in the ram and sent for filing and storage on the hard drive.

However, this information is not always stored contiguously and it is sent to the first available memory space, and therefore, information becomes fragmented. In order to link these fragmented, yet related pieces of information, each piece of information is allocated an “address” which corresponds to the next piece of information, and hence they are able to find each other.

She crawls through the cracks in my skin and digs into my veins then she makes her way up straight into my brain, locks herself in a cage and swallows the key so she can fuck around with me.

The Neverest

I try to grasp the concept of eternal life.
Wrap my mind around the unison of space and time.

Crashing at the speed of thought,
I’m bending light.
Connecting corners only deemed apart.
I’m ubiquitous, omnipotent,
Divine.

Immortality’s the cure for ageing,
But the bounds of wisdom never-ending.
Nor beginning.
And as I climb the spine of a thousand generations,
The horizon tapers
And I get further away.

Because time is just a feeling,
And space is just a vision,
And far ahead I see myself
As just another instance
In the Neverest.

The Rain-Dance Delightful

Raindrop.
The water resonates in a puddle.
The wind plays the flute.
A cloud plays the drums.
The earth hums.
A tree dances in the gentle moon.
The moon smiles.
Outside it’s a symphony.

Love and Rain

Classroom boredom...

Chimera

Rest assured we’ll mend your mind,
Secure your thinking in a line,
Cut the chord,
Wave good-bye
While you’re sinking.

Anesthetize your every dream
Lullaby the conscious stream,
Defrag your brain and mould you
While you’re sleeping.

Insert a frame,
Delete a line,
Cut and paste an inch of time,
Deceive your lonely freedom
Of its meaning.

The Sunflower

You’ve grown into my favourite flower,
Now you’re all that I know;
Like the rising sun
In the everness flow...

Smoke & Mirrors

A twisted world with a man on its shoulder, who dreams of life and wakes up when it’s over.
Observing flies on the walls, chasing moles, digging holes to find his four leaf clover.
Gods alibi won’t confess to creation. He flips a switch and reveals incarnation.
The serpent grins, shedding skins, spitting sins at the prince of our damnation.

We buy our liberty, from a democracy, who sells hypocrisy. Another fallacy.
A two-faced diplomat entices bureaucrats, pulls rabbits from his hat, unveils the Siamese cat.

It.

Inside my head, there’s always this voice. A silent voice that never runs out of things to say. Sometimes It tries to keep me entertained, sometimes It just chatters away. It’s uncontrollable, unstoppable, and perhaps even unstable, often It drives me insane. It keeps me awake and It argues, thinks It always knows best. Won’t let me get in one word. It’s controlling and selfish, got a mind of Its own. It’s possessive and stubborn, so loud that It’s deaf. Hyperactive overdrive. Running circles in my head.
This puppeteer doesn’t need strings, It’s got brain.

Destination X

Nomadic thoughts and a wondering mind,
Drifting away on an ocean of feelings.
A breath of wind embraced in our sail.

Uncharted times and abstract places.
Seeking the eye of the storm.
Filling limited space
With infinite spaces.

Too many thoughts
But not enough minds,
Riding the wind to unknown destinations.

The Bubblegum Express Train

Personalities come and go.
They pop inside my head like bubblegum.
Some linger to change me and shape me;
Some disappear fairly quickly,
Leaving footprints of an abstract world in the back of my mind,
Where everything’s mad,
Or cool, or divine, or strange.
But always
So uniquely different,
At being uniquely different.

And here I am,
One mind.
Trying to expand beyond one.
So I too could be different,
Or unique.
But all I am is one.

The Money Tree

This is a story about a boy
Who wanted everything he saw.
It didn’t matter what he got,
He wanted more and more.

But everything costs a hard earned dime,
And if you want so much, you must work hard all the time!
And if you work all the time, you don’t get to play,
And No-One wants to live that way.

But I’ll stop right here, I’m getting carried away.
My story begins one fine summer’s day...

Sacrifice a lover’s tear for stranger love.
The drizzle of our sadness dims my native sun;
Overshadowed by a brighter star.

Recall the slipping of our fingers
As we slowly pulled apart. And now,
Alone, our minds acknowledge revelation.

On gentle shores, our feelings wax and wane,
Entwined, and breathing with the tide.
The breeze sends you my sacred touch.
A drifter’s moon will be our satellite…
The world’s on the hook
For me to swallow.
Wheels me in
And guts me hollow.

The Dark Star

You’ll see me floating every night,
Cradled in god’s surrogacy.
The infancy of his nativity.

I am the dark star of eternity,
That shines the answer
To the vacuum of your mind.

I am the space between the lines;
An endless wonder
Basking in the immortality of time

I am always inside;
Got nowhere to go
And nowhere to hide.

Tangerine (A tribute to the moon)

I share the nights with a melancholy moon.
It sings me such enchanting tunes,
I hope they never end.
This moon is a devoted friend.

On the distant shore I wish I was
I learn to swim,
And my reflection shares the ocean
With my moon serene.

Such a gracious escort;
Finds my lonely mind
Wherever it may be.
my giant in eternity.

Aliquot

This ocean holds me captive.
I am a mystified dream
In its shattered reality;
A fragment of a wandering mind
Sinking deeper into wonder.

Oh, such a translucent life.
This lonely creator breathes in despair
Like the ever changing tide.

Who ever spoke of lucid dreams
I cannot even imagine?
The mystery unfolds into delusion.
And I find myself gasping for breath,
Drowning in an empty vision.
