I share the nights with a melancholy moon.
It sings me such enchanting tunes,
I hope they never end.
This moon is a devoted friend.
On the distant shore I wish I was
I learn to swim,
And my reflection shares the ocean
With my moon serene.
Such a gracious escort;
Finds my lonely mind
Wherever it may be.
my giant in eternity.
