The Neverest

I try to grasp the concept of eternal life.
Wrap my mind around the unison of space and time.

Crashing at the speed of thought,
I’m bending light.
Connecting corners only deemed apart.
I’m ubiquitous, omnipotent,
Divine.

Immortality’s the cure for ageing,
But the bounds of wisdom never-ending.
Nor beginning.
And as I climb the spine of a thousand generations,
The horizon tapers
And I get further away.

Because time is just a feeling,
And space is just a vision,
And far ahead I see myself
As just another instance
In the Neverest.
